L’ASSOCIATION DES PROFESSIONNELS DES
ARTS DE LA SCÈNE

(ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL STAGE DESIGNERS OF QUEBEC)


(APASQ) brings together and represents all designers of props, hairstyles, costumes, sets, lighting, sound environments, make-up and puppets who work in Quebec in the fields of theater, music, dance, entertainment, musical theater, opera, circus and multidisciplinary events.

Since 1984, when it obtained its legal recognition from the Department of Financial Institutions, APASQ pursues two missions: 1) to study, defend and develop the economic, social, moral and professional interests of its members and 2) to promote and disseminate Quebec's scenic creations. Recognized under the Act respecting the professional status and conditions of engagement of performing, recording and film artists (S-32.1 Act), the Association negotiates collective agreements with various associations of producers or independent producers.

LE REGROUPEMENT DES
ARTISTES EN ARTS VISUELS DU QUÉBEC

(VISUAL ARTISTS ASSOCIATION OF QUEBEC)


Recognized under the Act respecting the professional status of artists in the visual arts, crafts and literature, and their contracts with promoters (S-32.01 Act) RAAV is the association representing Quebec's visual artists.

RAAV aims to improve conditions for the dissemination of artists' works and represents their economic, social, moral and professional interests. It represents more than 1200 professional artists.

(ASSOCIATION OF QUEBEC ILLUSTRATORS)




The association offer services to over 300 illustrators. Its mission is to represent and support illustrators and to promote and disseminate their work.

IQ is proud to have represented and supported professional and junior illustrators for over 30 years. The association helps in their career development and in improving their working conditions. While helping artists in pricing, contracting, and dealing with issues related to Copyright, IQ offers collective promotional tools and presents conferences and workshops.

LE CONSEIL DES MÉTIERS
D’ART DU QUÉBEC

(QUEBEC COUNCIL OF CRAFTS ARTISTS)



CMAQ is the only organization recognized under the Act respecting the professional status of artists in the visual arts, crafts and literature, and their contracts with promoters (S-32.01 Act) to represent all professionals in the field of Crafts. After more than twenty-five years of existence and with almost 1000 members, CMAQ is a key player in the development and vitality of crafts in Quebec.

In addition to offering a variety of services and defending the interests of professional craft artists, CMAQ oversees the Salon des métiers d'art de Montréal and Plein Art in Québec City. It also operates a network of shops and an art gallery.
